WE BUY USED GAYLORD BOXES
We are always looking for companies who have large quantities of used Gaylord Boxes to sell. We are very competitive in our pricing and look to develop strong relationships with our suppliers. Minimum quantity sell orders of 200 boxes per order.
When looking for boxes for packaging, be sure you are familiar with terms of the industry. Below are some common terms used to describe different types of new and used Gaylord boxes:
(RSC)
Regular Slotted Container
The most common box style. Highly efficient design for many applications. All flaps are the same length, and the two outer flaps (normally the lengthwise flaps) are one-half the container's width, so that they meet at the center of the box when closed.
(HSC)
Half Slotted Container
Similar to the RSC but without top set of flaps.
(OSC)
Overlap Slotted Container
All flaps have the same length. The outer flaps overlap by one inch or more. The box is easily closed, either with adhesives or frequently with staples driven through the overlap area. This style is commonly used when the length of the box is considerably greater that the width, resulting in a long gap between the inner flaps.
(ALB)
Snap Bottom Container
The four flaps that form the bottom panel are die cut. To set up, the user folds the largest bottom panel first, then the two end panels. When the remaining bottom panel is folded and pressure is applied near the center, the flap "snaps" into the slot created by the other panels. The style is convenient for small-volume shippers who do not have automatic set-up equipment.
(DC)
Double Cover Container
A tube forms the body. The top and bottom are usually two interchangeable partially telescopic covers.
(IC)
Interlocking Double Cover Container
This style offers the same ease of packing provided by double-cover box, with the assurance that the covers will not separate from the body. This is achieved by interlocking covers and tubes, then sealing with adhesives or banding.
