Know your Dimensions:
The width is the measurement across the opening of the bag.
The length is the measurement that runs from the bags opening to the base of the bag.
The gauge is the measurement of thickness and gives the bag its strength
(.001 (1 Mil) to .006 (6Mil) gauges available)
The gusset us the fully extended depth of the bag
How to Fit Bags for Boxes or Bags:
Add the width and length of the sides. Add 2 inches for a looser fit. This total equals the flat width of the bag needed.
Add ½ of the shortest side to the height of the container. Add 5 inches to this value for overhang. This equals the length of the bag.
If tying, rather than lining a box, add ½ length of the shortest side to the bag length determined by step 2.
